Dear Madam/Sir,

We would like to stay 3 nights in Tofino or nearby during our summer Holiday in Canada (BC).

We've planned to come to Tofino on Tuesday 10 July and leave on Friday 13.

We are four adults (2 parents and our daughters of 17 and 20).

Do you have rooms/cottages available?

It can be simple, no luxury. We can sleep on one room. Sea view is not necessary. Rate in total $300.

Thanks.

E. G.

We are looking for a room with one queen bed or king for 2 adults for the nights of Aug 6 and Aug 7 checking out on the 8th.

Do you have any rooms available for those dates and what would be the rate?

R. and C. S.

We are looking for accommodation for July 20 and 21 2007.

We will have our 11 month old grand-daughter with us.

We would like something in the $125.00 to $155.00 per night price range.

Dear Madams and Sir,

We are a young german couple with a toddler and are travelling through B.C. for a while. Due to our limited budget we are looking for an inexpansive accomodation in Tofino for one week beginning after June 6th. We would need a living and a sleeping room.

Thank you in advance for your kind cooperation!

D.T.

We are looking for a reservation in a bed and breakfast at Tofino for 2 nights and 3 adults on august 12 and 13 th. Could you send me informations about rooms available for that time?

Thank you

I'm wondering if you have a suite available for Aug. 2nd, 3rd, 4th, departing on the 5th. We'd need 3 beds; 2 in one room and the third in another room or the living room (we have a snorer!).

We are two adults and one 14yr old.
Could you broadcast my request please and keep track of cancellations for me?  We are looking for a clean place, on or near the beach. Ideally, we wouldn't want to spend more than about $200/night.

Thanks very much for all your help.  I know it's a busy time of year, but would love to visit your lovely environs.
Sincerely,
M. G.

Accommodation reply:
Hello M,

Thanks so much for your note. I’ve forwarded this on to Tourism Tofino, who has an accommodation list that they can mail out your request to. You can also contact individual Vacation Rentals, and B & B’s and resorts that you find appealing on the Tourism Tofino website.

Best Regards,

Hi there,

My wife, myself and our 14 year daughter will be travelling from Australia to your area in August 2007.

Could you please send me availability and rates for the three of us to stay with you from august 16th through 21st inclusive, It may even be a bit longer than that, but those dates definitely. A one bedroom unit is fine by us as long as we all have a bed.

Do you have ocean views from the room we would stay in.

I look foward to your reply, and your help is appreciated.

Cheers,

M. S.

Finding Tofino Accommodations really isn't that hard, especially if you think ahead a little bit. Tofino has quickly become a year-round destination for travelers the world over, which has some consequences as far as renting accommodations is concerned. For instance, you may want to rethink your summer trip and plan on visiting Tofino in the winter months when it is much quieter and quite quaint. The price of accommodations is much more reasonable in the winter months, and there is a good chance that you'll get to do some storm watching, which has become a very trendy way to vacation in Tofino.

One of the wonderful things about the global recognition that Tofino has received, is that there are now a wide variety of options for Tofino accommodations. There are so many different options for renting a place in Tofino. We're planning on breaking down the choices into the following categories, and then writing about the pros and the cons about each one based on the season that you are planning to vacation in Tofino:

  • Tofino Beach Accommodations
  • Tofino Waterfront Accommodations
  • Accommodations in Downtown Tofino
  • Tofino Inns
  • Tofino Hotels
  • Tofino Suites

Again, we really can't stress enough that planning ahead is very important if you are visiting Tofino in the peak season. There is a good chance that you will find yourself homeless in Tofino if you show up without a rental at the wrong time of the year. Many people have spent the night in the ditch simply because they thought that Tofino was the quaint little fishing village that they visited in 1969. Well times have changed, folks, and Tofino accommodations is a perfect reflection of these different days.

Now your Tofino activities will be filled with frothy lattes, 4 star restaurants and steams in the spa. Ok, you can still go fishing in Tofino, and whale watching in Tofino has become a favorite activity, and there still are some remnants of that quaint little fishing village. (Even if most of the fish that come out of Tofino's waters are from the near-by salmon farms!)

LATEST TOFINO ACCOMMODATION QUESTION:

Accommodation answers here

We are a couple looking for a quiet sea view, or beachfront accomodation for about a week ending Sept.05,2007.

I have a well trained Vizsla dog, small, spayed, clean and completely trained to stay quietly on a mat when in or out of doors.

Prefer Chesterman Beach or similar remote serene location.

Thanks

J. T.

I am interested in how much the rate would be to stay in Tofino for just one night in April.

It would be myself and my girlfriend. I rented a place for the night in Tofino almost four years ago, and haven't forgotten how nice it was. That was when I was visiting from Ontario.

I told my friend about how great Tofino is and we are planning to visit the island for a weekend. I'm just hoping that the accommodations aren't too expensive now.

So I would appreciate if you could let me know if it is availiable and how much it would be.

Thanks,

Irene
