Tofino is a place for outdoor fun

Talk about the myriad of outdoor options and the beach-going way of life. Tofino has an activitiy for practically everyone.

Fishing and Birdwatching are a few examples of ways to and get out and enjoy Tofino in a way that most folks don't think about, but here's a question we recently got that stumped us:

I'm planning my 30th birthday this year and we thought about doing something adventure some either ATV or doon buggies, something like that. Lots of us have never been to Tofino so wondered if there is a place around there we could go to. I'm thinking something like a sand-dune place (not sure exactly what their called.

If you have any information you could forward me that would be great.

Of course the short answer is no. Tofino does have lots of sand - on the beach - but most of the beaches are protected by the Pacific Rim National Park, so no ATVs or dune buggies are allowed.
