My fiance and I are looking for a central location for our wedding in Tofino on Sept 15/07. Specifically we would like a beachfront location that would be suitable for both a wedding ceremony and reception. We are looking at having the wedding professional catered but these details will also depend on the suitability of the location.

Hi there,

I was wondering if you had any information on the basic costs of having a Wedding at the Wickaninnish Inn, with 30 guest in attendance. We're trying to get a rough estimate of the costs of having our wedding held at your resort next May.

We would be looking to do a simple ceremony...outdoors if weather permitted (but with an indoor space incase), with a dinner reception afterwards for up to 30 guests plus ourselves of course. Would there be any discounts on room rates if we booked 16 rooms? Any information you could send us would be greatly appreciated.

Ahh... the beach wedding. Such a romantic idea - but watch out for rain!

In truth, there are lots of places to get married indoors in Tofino too - so don't think that your perfect wedding ceremony has to be outside. Lots of couples opt for an indoor ceremony and make time for wedding photos on the beach.

Either way you'll want to plan your wedding party's accommodations well in advance.
